The shareholders of EuroCTP B.V. are currently 14 European exchanges respectively exchange groups that represent the operators of the main regulated markets in 25 EU countries. On February 16th, 2023, the exchanges announced a joint initiative to participate in the future selection process for the provision of a consolidated tape (CT) for equities in the European Union. Initially, they signed a term sheet to establish a joint venture to evaluate and prepare an application as a CT provider in a future selection process. After months of intensive cooperation and substantial financial investments, EuroCTP B.V. was incorporated as a Dutch company on August 23rd, 2023.
